Erica Chen has always had a passion for movement - a lifelong dancer from Florida turned NYC based yoga instructor, she received her 200hr RYT as well as her mentorship through Yoga Vida NYC. She has since completed her 85hr pre/postnatal certification through Ishta Yoga, and 100 hours towards her Katonah Yoga certification under Abbie Galvin. Erica creates dynamic, intuitive and challenging yet accessible yoga sequences with hands on adjustments and modifications for all levels of practitioners. She teaches group, private, and corporate classes around the city and in Brooklyn, and is the co-founder of Om Tribe Yoga Retreats, a yoga retreat company aimed at bringing people together through yoga, excursions and mindfulness. She is dedicated to bringing the practice to others to ultimately change lives like yoga has changed hers. You can catch her group classes at Yoga Vida and Equinox.

Private sessions allow the instructor to take into consideration all aspects of your life - including your occupation, stress level, diet, injuries, relationships - and create a practice tailored to your needs. By gaining more tools to really connect to each posture with confidence, you'll find how you also connect more to your inner Self. This practice will not only help you physically, but give you time to find peace and empowerment, while feeling supported and safe.
